The
Land of The Free, a nation of immigrants who joined the
indigenous population who had been occupying the area
for millenia. The United States is a young country in
comparison to other states of the world, but has grown
up fast to become one of the most influential and powerful
nations.
Separating from the British Empire in 1776, the United
States grew together from a loose confederation of regional
states. Over time, America expanded from east to west,
eventually stretching from sea to sea. With that, the
country added new regions, cultures and history to itself.
African, English, German, Irish, Scottish, Italian and
Asian immigrants came over in huge waves over the years,
eventually setting the pace and flavour of the country.
